The solar month of Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21) will start off like a breath of fresh air as Jupiter follows the Sun and enters its own sign of rulership the next day. The inner planets are still close to the Sun as well so the intensity of their connections now moves from Scorpio to Sag, which can actually feel like a big relief. From the emotional depths of Scorpio we move to the spirited highs of the annual Sagittarius quest for truth and the meaning of life. The Evolutionary Astrology mantra for Sagittarius is: I understand the relativity of truth with others .
There are personal truths and timeless, universal truths, which may or may not be the same thing. How many times can you reflect back over your life and remember something you thought was an absolute, only to find it was just a tiny piece of the truth? Or worse yet, not even anywhere close to it. Yet, it was your “gospel” at the time and defended like there was no tomorrow without it.
The natural law of evolution expands our awareness of life through the space/time continuum like the expanding ripples of a stone dropped in water. We run into trouble when we try to stop the process, usually due to desire for security with what we “know” when the next ripple threatens our world in some way. This is exactly where we need to find the courage to explore.
If we are glimpsing natural, spiritual laws and principles, expanding our consciousness yet again only brings us closer to Universal Source even as it rocks our world. If we are in the middle of false wanderings, we need the realignment. Unfortunately, today's modern world is full of distortions from natural laws, especially when the religious label is applied.
As Pluto in Sagittarius finishes up its long cycle (1995-2008), we are faced with our personal and collective half-truths and lies exposed. During 2006-7, Pluto in Sag has been moving back and forth across the Galactic Center of our Milky Way Galaxy, currently at 26/27 degrees Sagittarius in the tropical zodiac. In natural law terms, this is as close as we get to receive inspiration from the center of our little quantum universe. We are all receiving direct messages, expanding us in wisdom.
Natural laws can be suppressed and distorted, however, they cannot be destroyed. Sooner or later, the pendulum swings to restore equilibrium. These days, the examples come from the recent U.S. mid-term elections and an evangelical pastor's fall from grace. The current administration's lies are catching up with them so the public votes them out of office. The pastor who doesn't practice what he preaches gets exposed, and fired from the very organization he created. In reality, these examples need to be just the beginning. Today's world is so far removed from natural spiritual laws and principles the majority cannot even recognize it anymore.
Welcome to Jupiter's yearlong passage through its own sign of rulership as Pluto in Sag (once every 248 years) brings final opportunities to expand our beliefs and philosophies. This is not a time for rationalizations and compensations. It is time for blunt honesty and the truth as best as we can perceive it. It is time to quest for deeper understandings. Ask sincerely and often enough and your own intuition will tap into natural, universal laws. Would evolved souls, like Jesus, really advocate exclusiveness?
As we have faced our limitations of power through Sun in Scorpio, hopefully metamorphosing them, we will now intuit the next path leading us to greater self-empowerment. Sagittarius is the pilgrim who travels the entire world only to find that what he/she is looking for lies within. May you find the guru you are searching for inside yourself.
Mercury makes the third and final waning trine to Uranus on November 22 at 10/11 degrees Scorpio-Pisces. The first two waning trines were October 10 and November 13. This can be an excellent time for both left-brain and right-brain conversations, each side sparking the other. It can be a time for bringing deep, unconscious memory to the surface and understanding how these memories drive us emotionally. Be careful of excuses.
This last Mercury retrograde cycle in Scorpio was intense. This solar month is the third passage of Mercury aspects to five planets – Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, Mars and Jupiter. We can begin to understand all the different ways we have asked why, why, why. What is the meaning of my life? Why am I here? How can I learn to feel better? This is a month for pondering our purpose from our new foundations of empowerment. Just realize Uranus may have messages we do not want to hear. No checking out, pay attention. Continue the conversations. Deeply listen.
Jupiter enters Sagittarius on November 23 for a yearlong journey, until December 18, 2007. Once every twelve years Jupiter moves through Sag and creates a renewal time regarding our belief systems. For most of us this means beliefs concerning religion and spirituality although it covers every area of life. Each cycle must be understood in the context of the current collective cycles we find ourselves living in. This Jupiter in Sag passage may find many souls, especially in the U.S., questioning the deeper meanings of their beliefs in relation to organized religion.
Evangelical Christianity has increased during the last 10 years of Pluto in Sagittarius. It has advocated its version of Christianity as the “only” way to extremes we haven't seen for a long time. It is a classic example of religion turned dogmatic. To question their purported beliefs unfolds heaps of judgment. Jupiter in Sag may easily expose these extremes of dogma as the control factors they really are.
Most major religions today, Judaism and Islam included, advocate a perfect god to imperfect humans. This creates a foundation for guilt at our easily recognized imperfections with organized religions offering redemption. We can trace this back for several thousand years to the very beginnings of these major religions. This type of belief structure offers a means of control over humanity.
Well why would something perfect create this mess? Is it possible the Un-manifest manifested in an effort to evolve/perfect itself? These are the ponderings of Jupiter (and Sun and Pluto) in Sagittarius, and yet it is considered blasphemy by many to question the perfection of god. So souls just stop showing up for religion, disappointed and let down yet not knowing why.
Before the advent of human-made religions, we lived in much greater harmony with natural laws. We didn't have fancy labels for this type of existence; we just experienced life as one with nature. Everything was considered sacred. We knew activities of inclusiveness increased our chances of survival. As souls evolve and move through the limitations of organized religions, a return to nature as a natural “church” can be quite comforting.
Jupiter, Sagittarius and the 9 th house of the zodiacal wheel all relate to the archetype of intuition – when we know something not quite knowing how we know it. We are tapping into those larger forces of knowledge and receiving an inner message. Some call this source of knowledge the akashic record, or our higher self. It is our direct connection to Universal Source as best as we can link up.
As Jupiter moves through Sagittarius this year, there will be individual and collective leaps of growth with regard to intuiting new knowledge. It is possible the consensus will start to “get” this quantum physics message that what we energize we create. To realize that higher enlightenment is a personal, inward journey is very threatening to organized religion, and their backlash about the “new age whoopla” can get more intense. The reason for their very existence – we need them to find God/Goddess – isn't necessary. As souls realize this and leave the religions, stay tuned for the debates and zealousness.
Jupiter and all the fire signs have a desire for freedom. Many will desire freedom from oppressive beliefs. Many will desire the freedom to believe as they choose. Natural, spiritual laws and principles are based upon philosophies of giving, sharing and inclusiveness. Many organized religions are base upon philosophies of inferiority/superiority and exclusiveness, especially when you do not believe as they expect you to.
There will be waves of souls buying in to another cycle of distortions from natural laws. There will be waves of souls seeing a larger picture of universal truth. Where do you get to expand your understandings of your beliefs?
As nature responds to our actions, it will become harder and harder to ignore the interconnectedness of everything. Jupiter and Pluto together in late Sag may bring a cycle of realigning with nature that surprises everyone. If so, this happens from necessity to wake us up.
Venus makes a waning square to Uranus on November 25 at 10/11 degrees Sagittarius-Pisces. Venus will lead the path of the inner planets until its next retrograde cycle during summer 2007 (in Virgo-Leo). As the inner planets now move into waning squares to Uranus, there is the classic “crisis in consciousness” over our beliefs. With Venus-Uranus, this concerns our beliefs about relationships.
We've survived the Scorpio relationship confrontations, but what did it mean? Most likely we are back to our relationship with our self in some way even if we are in intimate relationship(s). The relationship we have with our self is identical to the relationship we have with God/Goddess, and vice versa. Are you happy with your self? If not, why not? What old relating patterns is Uranus bringing to the surface for Venus to face?
Be careful with making excuses. If something is not healthy for you in your relationships, make the effort to change it. Change your self first. Venus in Sag and Uranus in Pisces may need to realize that our relationship to Universal Source must come first, no substitutes. If your relating boundaries are unhealthy it may be pointed out to you in some way. We may find ourselves getting glimpses of how to spiritualize our relations in some way. Go for it!
Mercury makes the third and final waning square to Neptune on November 28 at 17/18 degrees Scorpio-Aquarius. The first two aspects were October 15 and November 8. Mercury started its retro cycle last solar month just as Neptune ended its annual one, so these two planets are now finishing up a strong impact upon each other. Neptune is requiring Mercury to think deep and honor how we really feel.
However we may need to think twice before acting upon those emotions. Mercury in Scorpio needs to emotionally detach from whatever is pushing our buttons. It can be hard to release the cycle of revengeful thoughts, yet this is exactly what we must strive to do. Frustration is a signature of giving our power away, usually over expectations that someone else is not meeting as we desire. Love your self. Neptune's ability to detach can help you understand a broader viewpoint and release your emotional upsets.
Mars makes a waxing square to Saturn on November 28 as well at 25 degrees Scorpio-Leo. Mars is fairly active this month with aspects to Saturn, Jupiter and Uranus. It adds to this Sag energy to bust out and break free, especially once Mars enters Sagittarius on December 5. This first quarter square, crisis in action, can be over what we desire to do and what we feel responsible about.
Saturn in Leo will turn stationary retrograde on December 5 as well, so this is a glimpse of what is coming. We are frustrated with old realities, especially creative ones, and the desire to move forward is quite strong. Yet that creates insecurities from maintaining our past so frustration builds even more. Something has got to give. Watch out for control battles in relationships. Make an effort to be responsible for your self and your own needs. Sun in Sag may want to color pictures that another will call manipulation.
Talk it out. Mercury in Scorpio, the third time after its retro cycle, can help us realize deep emotional needs and desires that Mars is activating. Old emotional betrayals of trust can paralyze us which affects our ability to be free. These desires will conflict with current realities. Yet, change is here. Many times the fear of something is worse than it actually happening.
Make your best efforts to act upon these new desires. Create security from within. There are old ways that must be released to make room for the new. Consciously initiate the new or it will happen “to” you.
Venus makes a waning sextile to Neptune on November 30 at 17/18 degrees Sagittarius-Aquarius. This is a beautiful “return to Source” aspect, what is stopping you? Let your own intuition guide you on your path. If you find yourself looking for that perfect lover to make your life wonderful, you are moving into fantasyland. Do not expect someone else to make you happy. That is your responsibility.
As we move through the second half of the zodiac annually, a deeper inner relationship to God/Goddess takes on more importance. With the exception of Saturn, the outer planets are moving through the end of the zodiac, which is a natural path of releasing our manifestations and turning inward. From fall until the spring rebirths we search for more and more meaning in our lives.
This Venus-Neptune waning sextile can give us those kinds of messages. Yet they are subtle, and we must pay attention. We must inwardly listen. Many times our higher self speaks in whispers. A deeper relationship with Universal Source will create a deeper, more satisfying relationship with everyone in our life. Go for it.
The Sun makes a waning square to Uranus on December 2 at 10/11 degrees Sagittarius-Pisces. These two planets always spark each other, with the Sun personalizing things and Uranus pointing out the collective perspective. This aspect can find us wondering what our purpose in life really is. Ego is asked to realign with soul in order for things to make sense.
Yet most of us defend our lives from our ego's point of view. Yes, we want to be spiritual, and we want it on our own terms. No wonder we have so many religions today, running somewhere between 15-20,000 organized religions!! Uranus in Pisces is slowly teaching us that until ego merges with soul, and individual soul merges with Universal Soul, we will run into the experience of disillusionment. This Sun-Uranus waning square not only points out ”wrong” directions for us, it also gives us major hits on the “right” path for our own individual soul.
At the same time, Sun-Uranus lead us closer and closer to universal truth. This is a solar month to turn inward and ask until answers come to you. Just be prepared for ego surrendering to let your soul have greater and greater leadership. Be prepared for your own battles within. Look for the repeated messages that sparks your ah ha's….
Mercury makes the third and final waxing square to Saturn on December 4 at 25 degrees Scorpio-Leo. Mercury will catch up to Mars soon. Here we will face those emotional frustrations that have us wanting to move one way while we feel responsible in other ways. What to do? Right now, talk it through, again, on deep, deep levels.
As these inner planets finish up their cycle through Scorpio, we must honor that emotional body of ours. One of the greatest lies in organized religions, for five thousand years now, is that somehow there is a separation of spirit and flesh. Garden of Eden myth anyone? We do not want to be bothered by those emotions (flesh) of ours. Ha ha. When is the last time you really got outside your emotional body? Just think back to the last time you had a strong emotional charge or outburst, or sexual (senses/flesh) urge. Evolution takes place through the emotional body!!
Mercury can help Mars understand the why of these emotions we have experienced over the last month. When these two meet in another week, we may realize the directions that are really best in healing our emotional body. Our desires are emotionally based whatever the desire may be. Without the emotional charge to it, we have no desire for it. Saturn in Leo is stating: this is what I want for me! Mercury is figuring out how to move towards it.
Neptune's year-long oppositions (8-31-06, 2-28-07, 6-25-07) to Saturn will show us what is real for us to create and what is not. Put your feet on the ground as you reach for the clouds. Spiritualize your reality whatever it is. Your emotional frustrations are actually leading you to your next step of growth.
The Full Moon of Gemini is December 4 at 12/13 degrees Sagittarius-Gemini. This is the annual Full Moon of understanding that every soul takes a different path to get to the same place. Watch your judgments here. Honor that emotional body. Listen to your own intuition coming through with the best choices for you.
When others confront your ideas and visions, listen and then intuit your next step. Stay on the path? Or, make a change from the new information that was shared? You will know when someone comes from their own insecurities, attempting to manipulate or convert you when you trust your own intuition. You will know when universal law comes through. This is the solar month to reconnect you to natural spirituality and take your intuition to its next level.
Quest for truth. Be honest with yourself and others, and honesty will come back to you. This is the natural law of attraction, like attracts like. Full Moon surprises reveal truth we need to acknowledge.
Saturn turns stationary retrograde on December 5 at 25 degrees Leo. Its four-month retrograde cycle ends April 19, 2007 at 18/19 degrees Leo. This week can be some of the most energized time of the month. First the Full Moon brings everything to a head, then Saturn turns retrograde, taking our current realities out the door as Mars wants to bust free from our emotional frustrations moving into Sagittarius. Breathe, and take long walks in nature if possible.
The five outer planets have one planetary retrograde cycle each year. For Jupiter and Saturn, these retro cycles are four months long. Both are conscious planets, meaning we can have full consciousness of their lessons when we make the effort. Saturn is the boundary of our consciousness, so when it goes backwards from our geocentric viewpoint, it is like opening the door to our unconsciousness. Things are ready to come up and out, and we can access our inner depths.
Old realities, old limitations, old securities, whatever isn't working in our lives anymore is in our face. So is anything we have been suppressing. This is the second and last Saturn retrograde cycle in Leo, pointing to the polarity of Aquarius and objectivity. What about me is a Saturn in Leo theme. During its retro cycle we must realize that everyone is making this statement. Where is the compromise?
This is also the Saturn retro cycle that will create the three oppositions to Neptune in Aquarius. Somehow we must figure out how we fit into the larger pictures of our life – family, friends, work, and community. The world does not revolve around us and yet we are the most important thing in our world. Where is the balance? What are the unique creative talents emerging from within us? How to they fit into our world?
Saturn wants security and stability. For most of us this comes from our career or job. This area may be coming up for review during Saturn retro. Whenever our Saturnian worlds are crumbling, it is time to go for a deeper inner security. We are all looking for fulfillment through our creative outlets. It is time to re-energize how we go about creatively actualizing ourselves. What is coming up for review? What is Neptune in Aquarius asking you to take into consideration?
Leo wants to impose its way onto others. Aquarius forces Leo to acknowledge the larger circle and figure out how to fit in. All souls desire security, and when Saturn turns retrograde we can get shook up. Know that it is time to let go of the old ways in order to grow.
The same day Mars enters Sagittarius on December 5 for the next six weeks, until January 16, 2007. As Saturn asks us to let go, Mars will lead the way in moving things forward. We may not know where we are headed, however Mars can instinctively move us in the right directions. Pay attention to any fanatic attitudes for Saturn can bust those ideas and leave you trying to pick up the pieces. Probably alone as well.
Watch out for grandiosity. Saturn will show Mars what is possible right now. We are meant to be interpreting our next great idea and going after it. Saturn is here to show Mars (and Jupiter, Sun, Venus and Pluto) what is real and actually achievable. There is a blueprint to review, do it. Your soul's deepest desires and next major quest needs to stand the test of Saturn retro. Houses built on quicksand do not last. Let Mars work with Saturn to make your ideas real.
The Sagittarian intuitive spark and understanding is building momentum as five planets are now moving through Sag. What is your intuition bringing through for you? What are your conversations with God/Goddess (your higher self) these days? Are you listening? Are you feeling inspired? If not, what needs to change?
The congregation of inner planets in Sag with Jupiter (its ruler) and Pluto are meant to reconnect us to personal truth and then universal truth. We must walk our talk. We are searching for meaning in our lives this month. We want to take our belief system to the next level, the next ripple. The opportunities are strong to really get that energy goes where attention flows. What do you give your attention to these days? What is wrong with your world, or what is right with your world? It is time to change your focus. It is time to expand your consciousness. May you be most successful.
This is the solar month for the falseness (lies) in your world to be exposed. Let Mars in Sag act with utmost honesty and integrity. Speak your truth and know that the world is helping you get to harmony with natural laws again. Any upsets are just chances for realignments.
Venus makes a waxing trine to Saturn retro on December 6/7 at 25 degrees Sagittarius-Leo. Venus-Saturn has a choice here: to go for what is real in love, or settle for what sounds good on the surface yet is actually a hollow version of the real thing. Waxing trines are aspects that energize fullness of self. The question as Saturn in Leo turns retro is, who comes first? Our inner self or outer, eogic self? Are we more interested in how things appear on the outside, or are we looking for deep, inner love that is then reflected outward?
Venus-Saturn can create real love, deeply committed love. In Sag-Leo, it must also watch for silver-tongued devils that talk the talk, yet somehow never walk the walk. You can create deep, fulfilling love or be taken for a false ride here. As Saturn turns retro, what is happening in your love life? The deep love you are looking for always starts with your self. It is also what we eventually turn to as the most satisfying to our soul. There can be some love realignments during the middle of this solar month.
Those Scorpionic love needs will be tested yet again – self-reliance or co-dependency?
Venus conjuncts Pluto on December 7 at 26/27 degrees Sagittarius. Saturn and Pluto have yet to make their one and only waxing trine (next August 6, 2007). However, they are close enough to visit the realities for our soul through Venus this week. Again, there can be major adjustments for souls who have based their realities upon false beliefs and distorted conditionings.
One of our most popular distortions in love is looking for completion outside our self. We are always looking for that “perfect” person (perfect god anyone?) who will make us happy. Venus is in this connection right now to teach us that we are looking for our self to love. We are the one who will make us happy. God/Goddess is found within first, and then realized outside of our self.
Just look around at whomever you consider to be a guru or avatar. Do they seem to radiate inner happiness with their self? That is real love. They are not looking for the next de facto god/goddess outside. They have found the real thing inwardly. Their relationships then reflect this deep love with whomever they encounter. This is the deepest rebirthing Venus-Pluto can go for – deep soul self-reliance.
This will then allow us to intuit the desires that are best for our own soul based upon this self-reliance. This concentration of Sag energy can deeply spiritualize our life to the next level. We can also settle for the charlatans when we are too lazy to do the work ourselves. Organized religions have invested a lot of time and energy convincing us of this outward fulfillment path. What is your choice? Exercise your will power.
Mercury enters Sagittarius on December 7/8 for the next three weeks until December 27. As Mercury picks up speed again so can our intuition. Mercury is now in the opposite sign of its rulership (Gemini), yet it can be OK here. When we tap into higher power, Mercury can be laser-sharp with the facts that support our intuitive hits.
The same process works with false beliefs and understandings as well. How do we know the difference? How do we know deeper levels of universal truth? Do the left-brain Mercurial thing and ask some simple questions. Do your beliefs support exclusiveness or inclusiveness? Do your beliefs support superiority/inferiority or equality? Do your beliefs draw lines in the sand or find the common ground? Do your beliefs need complicated rituals or simple understandings?
One of the great Sagittarian concepts to understand is that beliefs are chosen and conditioned. Some say beliefs are habits we have created. Look at your own life. How have your beliefs evolved over time? When you tap into universal truths, they stand the test of time. Natural laws do not need belief in them to be real. They exist with or without our beliefs. The good news is that beliefs can be un-chosen. We can change our conditionings. Isn't that what we are all attempting to do? Natural laws allow us to realize we get as many chances as we need until we perfect. We call this particular natural law reincarnation.
Universal truths can always be found in nature, standing the test of time.
The Sun makes a waning sextile to Neptune on December 9 at 17/18 degrees Sagittarius-Aquarius. Here are returning sparks (messages) for each of us. This is a spiritualizing month, how is it happening for you? There can be deep messages between these two planets. This aspect can also be easy to ignore and just check out.
Sag can also just want to go for a good time. Do your social outlets provide you with inspiration? If not, it may be time to change your acquaintances and friendships to those who do inspire you. If you choose to be around those who depress you, what does this say about your own energizing?
Mercury makes the third and final conjunction to Mars on December 9 as well at 2/3 degrees Sagittarius. The first two conjunctions were September 15 and November 11. Our inspired thoughts and ideas must be turned into actions. Mercury, Mars and Jupiter are lining up to provide just that. It has been a major week, maybe even depressing, as Saturn turned retro. Crumbling realities could be hard to accept.
Here is our ability to renew and find the positive again. Mercury-Mars is quick and they are both optimists in Sagittarius. That is the ability of Sag – to look at the big picture and find comfort in adaption and expansion. This could be an excellent time to renew our awareness of the sacredness of all life and act accordingly. Gaia is alive and rebalancing herself with or without us. What is your next action to create harmony with the world?
Mercury makes the third and final conjunction to Jupiter on December 10 at 3/4 degrees Sagittarius. The first two conjunctions were October 22 and October 30 in late Scorpio. These two were tight as Mercury began its last retrograde cycle. Now we have the passage of time to understand what is really important to us on emotional levels. Mercury and Jupiter are opposites on the zodiacal wheel. As the rulers of Gemini and Sagittarius respectively, they are always interrelating to each other, left-brain and right-brain to become whole brain.
Now they come together to inspire us and take us to the next intuitive level. The faster moving planet must always listen to the slower moving planet. Thank goodness Mercury is flexible. They both are. There are so many opportunities to cast the pebble into the pond and watch the ripples of our consciousness expanding. How is this happening for you?
Can you make your circle so big you can feel love for everyone? Can you include those whose beliefs and opinions differ from yours? Can you love those who claim to hate you? Can you visualize a world of love and peace? What inspires you? Can you strive to imitate until you actually become that?
Venus enters Capricorn on December 10/11 for the next three weeks until January 3, 2007. Venus is linked to Saturn all solar month. As Saturn now starts its reality review, consciousness review and creativity review, Venus also wants to get to the bottom line. The inspirations of Sag must be made real or they just remain ideas in the sky.
Venus in Capricorn teaches us that outer security is only as good as inner security. Our self-reliance can deeply motivate us out in the world. Know this, Venus and Saturn are always linked through their rulerships of earth signs, Taurus and Capricorn respectively. They both teach us that all the possessions in the world will not make us happy without inner happiness.
As Venus now leads the way through Capricorn, we will find out if those grandiose Sag ideals and declarations of love are real. Do your love interests walk the talk? Do you? Capricorn follows Sagittarius to manifest our ideas and beliefs. Do your realities support your beliefs? Are there conflicts to be addressed? Venus will find out.
Mars makes a conjunction to Jupiter on December 11 at 3/4 degrees Sagittarius. Here is the third part of the Mercury, Mars and Jupiter conjunctions. Mars and Jupiter tend to expand on whatever is happening, positive and negative. They both want action as rulers of fire signs. This expansiveness of Sagittarius must be expressed somehow as our intuition continues to create new worlds for us. Take some long walks in nature to ground what is coming through.
These two planets could get so excited that they forget about reality. How appropriate for Saturn to turn retrograde this month as a counterpoint for their unchecked actions. Mars-Jupiter can cover the entire spectrum of Sag. They can be zealous in their religious dogma. They can be inspiring in their charismatic teachings and preaching. They can lead us way off course, and direct us back to natural spiritual laws and principles. Mostly, they both want the freedom to choose their own course, including atheism.
We could see religion and spirituality making the news all month with this concentration of planetary energy joining Pluto in Sagittarius. Always, always, ask for the broadest level of truth to be revealed to you. Walk your talk. Be the example in the world you wish to see in the world.
Trust your own intuition coming through and act upon it, especially if it is creating a change in course that has not worked up to this point. Can you follow your own path Home? Allow yourself to have some fun. Sag loves to lighten things up. How and where can you find more joy even as Saturn asks you to create new realities? Give others the freedom you desire for yourself.
Mercury makes a waning square to Uranus on December 15 at 11/12 degrees Sagittarius-Pisces. Our conscious mind must adjust to the deep messages coming up from our unconsciousness. Quest for truth. Many times this can be traumatic, yet it is actually a step towards freedom for our souls. It takes more energy to support lies and games and illusions than the real thing.
Uranus is helping us become more conscious of the lack of healthy boundaries in our worlds. We are not taught to trust our intuition or inner voice. Yet it is the very foundation of our inner guidance system. This has been a solar month to regain our personal wisdom that naturally strives to link up with truth.
Any upsets and/or depressions could be the mechanisms to let you know you are not walking your truth. Adjust accordingly. Carry on your conversations with God/Goddess. Remember, universal truth can be recognized from within. You have the ability to answer your own questions.
The Sun makes a waxing trine to Saturn retrograde on December 16 at 24/25 degrees Sagittarius-Leo. This has been a more relaxing month for our solar life force connection. We have needed a rest from Scorpio's emotional intensity. Yet, the strength of our own wisdom has been powerful with all the planetary energy joining the Sun in Sag.
This aspect can help us understand what really inspires us to get out of bed in the morning. The question becomes: will we do something about it? As Saturn's retrograde direction picks up speed, Sun in Sag contributes to understanding what is unique and creative about our own soul. Trine aspects offer an ease of knowing the deeper meanings to what is happening as we are experiencing it. We just need to make the effort to incorporate what we are learning.
This aspect can give us many creative ideas, however, we need to do something about them. Here is the Sun getting involved in the Saturn-Pluto waning trine. If we make some effort to act upon our ideas coming through, we could experience some societal rewards next summer when Saturn and Pluto do link up. This can also be a relief valve from the Saturn-Neptune oppositions forcing us to face new realities.
Next the Sun makes its annual conjunction to Pluto on December 18 at 26/27 degrees Sagittarius. This is another power point as this conjunction takes place in alignment with our Milky Way Galactic Center. We can receive deep, inspiring messages. Everyone needs to ask for Universal Source to come through, speaking directly to us.
Perhaps more souls will realize that this planet we inhabit is alive and crying out for more compassion and loving care. Gaia needs to be treated as the living example of Source it really is. Ask what you can do to help. Educate yourself environmentally. Make recycling part of your household. Take it to another level. How can you create a rebirthing for Gaia?
This is an excellent aspect for developing your intuition, especially expanding your consciousness and taking your beliefs to the next level. Sun-Pluto cycles are about actualizing the creative desires within our souls. There are old desires ready to be released and new ones birthing. Move forward with your desires instead of recycling old ones. How strong is your desire to know Universal Source?
Mercury makes a waning sextile to Neptune on December 19 at 17/18 degrees Sagittarius-Aquarius. The outer planets in the later signs of the zodiac continually impact our abilities to expand in consciousness. Here is Neptune putting things directly into our left-brain about the bigger pictures of life, and dissolving whatever doesn't matter.
If you find this unsettling, it is just the example of how far you have removed yourself from natural spiritual laws and principles. How can you look at things differently? Mercury surrenders to Neptune no matter what the planetary aspect between them. Pay attention. Do not check out and life will go easier. Be honest and real with yourself.
Venus makes a waning sextile to Uranus on December 19 as well at 11/12 degrees Capricorn-Pisces. We can find similar surrender energy here. Venus in Capricorn doesn't necessarily like to surrender. As Mercury did mentally, Venus learns to do with the material world. More stuff will not bring happiness, just more clutter.
Uranus in Pisces will also dissolve boundaries, physical ones with Venus in Cap. There are messages all month long that we are all one. Self-reliant Venus will be ok. Insecure Venus will attempt to keep the walls up. Treat others as you wish them to treat you.
Any depression or disillusions are messages to get back on your path to evolve and grow. If Venus-Uranus bring up old painful love memories, love your self better! All this Sag energy is certainly giving you messages on how to do so.
The New Moon of Sagittarius is December 20 at 28/29 degrees. Here is one more Sag aspect to inspire us. This time it is on personal emotional levels. We can reach for the mountaintop to understand all that surrounds us. It can be a great time to actually climb one.
As these New Moons come at the end of a solar month, there is energy that culminates the solar theme. We can realize the limitations of those old beliefs that no longer serve us or make us happy. We can reach out for new ideas that excite us and energize us emotionally. Personal truths have been revealed all month, how is it now necessary to initiate in those directions?
We have all had opportunities to realign with universal truths and natural spiritual principles. This New Moon is about starting over with this new knowledge, which in actuality we are just remembering again. Trust your emotions to do what is right for you at this point in your life. May you be most successful.
Finally, just minutes before the Winter Solstice, Mars makes a waning square to Uranus on December 21 at 11/12 degrees Sagittarius-Pisces. These two planets can really push each other's buttons. Make an effort to find the common ground. We run the risk of all this religious/spiritual energy creating more lines in the sand rather than a circle of inclusiveness.
Mars in Sag want to express these ideas coming through. It can inspire Uranus in Pisces to get out of the old fogs. Uranus can force Mars to include everyone. This last quarter “crisis in consciousness” square is about letting go of old beliefs that limit us. We can destroy ourselves or save ourselves.
Sooner or later there will be events that shake up our world and force us to realize the universe does not revolve around the Earth. We are off in the boondocks of our own “little” galaxy. We are like kids fighting in a sandbox ignoring the tides coming in. Open your eyes and open your heart. We are all in this together. How large can you make your ripples?
May God/Goddess bless you through Sun in Sagittarius!
