The final revelations of truth we have been working upon this winter are now here. Jupiter makes its 3rd opposition to Pluto early this month and the limitations of our personal belief systems have now been fully revealed. Major new realizations of truth are in our consciousness, individually and collectively. The quest is now discerning how to move forward with these emerging new beliefs, and interact equally with others and their realizations.

Three planets change direction and go retrograde this month - Neptune, Mars and Uranus - providing us with the opportunities to discern our steps forward. We are all being asked to slow down and take time out for some major reviews and fine-tuning of plans, which may be interesting to do in this high-energy, changing year.

Every day brings major news of another unfoldment in our world. It is hard to feel secure when our national security, energy resources, economy, health, etc. are all up in the air with changes. The world state-of-affairs is far-removed from natural laws, and as Pluto continues to retrograde through the middle degrees of Sagittarius we are realizing the extremes we live in.

Utilize this summer's energy to align your personal life with natural laws. Do you even realize what they are? How simple can you make your life? What are the priorities of all your obligations? What is important to you and what can be released?

Sun is in Taurus and the Evolutionary Astrology Mantra is: I create greater self-reliance with every transformation. For another few weeks Sun in Taurus gives us some solar power to simplify our lives and get in touch with what we each need to survive. Sun in Taurus is the annual time to work on a greater level of inner self-reliance. This can be a most helpful foundation as we go through the changes sweeping the planet this year.

Mercury makes a waxing square to Uranus on May 3 at 24/25 degrees Taurus-Aquarius. Our left-brains are receiving major insights from the unconsciousness; in this case, messages of exactly what is necessary for our personal survival in the collective.

Next Mercury enters Gemini for 2 months on May 5, joining the Gemini-Sagittarius line-up this year. In the sign of one of its rulerships, Mercury bombards us with messages of opportunities for changes. Activities, and exercise, to calm the nervous systems are especially helpful.

Positively, we each have energy to shift our deductive, analytical minds to incorporate other choices than the usual way we look at things. Negatively, we can just look for more information to support whatever ideas we wish to remain stuck in. The oppositions from the Sag planets (Pluto and Mars) offer intuitive insights that Mercury in Gemini can then support in order to grow and change if we wish. How do you choose to look at the things in your life?

On May 6 Jupiter makes the 3rd and final opposition to Pluto at 14/15 degrees Gemini-Sag. Since last fall, and all through the winter, we have been receiving major insights about ourselves, our beliefs, and how we look at our lives. Whatever does not work anymore has been revealed.

The limitations of our personal belief systems have been exposed and we are faced with incorporating new beliefs, and understanding others' beliefs. The quest is to align our beliefs with natural, timeless, spiritual laws. How are the changes in the world affecting you? Do your beliefs still support you? If not, what must change?

Personal revelations of truth will continue to unfold for us through the rest of the year due to the planetary line-up in Gemini-Sagittarius. (Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn and soon the Sun, and later Venus, in Gemini; Mars and Pluto in Sag.) Be open, go with the flow, allow yourself to change as the insights are revealed to you. Resistance will only create cataclysmic changes, and there will be enough hurricanes and earthquakes, inner and outer, as it is.

Listen, listen, listen, to those messages from within, and the encounters with others in your life. Truth desires to be revealed. It has been distorted long enough, and the shifting from the Piscean Age to the Aquarian Age over the next few hundred years will bring many opportunities for timeless, universal truths to be revealed.

The Full Moon of Scorpio is May 7 at 17/18 degrees Taurus-Scorpio. The annual time to realize our emotional insecurities and metamorphose into greater self-reliance. Unhealthy co-dependencies may be revealed. Healthy independent merging is the quest. An annual time to merge with whatever/whoever is perceived to be more powerful than us, and incorporating that new power into ourselves without becoming dependent upon its source. We are asked to merge and than carry that union to greater levels of self-reliance.

Mercury is quite active this month with every planet. Mental activity, deductive and inductive, is strong all year. This summer brings many opportunities for major shifts into realignment with natural spiritual laws and principles, and our conscious minds are continually asked to accept the changes.

Next Mercury makes a waxing sextile to Venus on May 10 at 8/9 degrees Gemini-Aries. A few more insights to the Venus retrograde cycle - additional information for moving forward in our new relationship directions, with ourselves and others. These next few days Mercury, Venus and Neptune dance with each other to help us understand the new directions love is taking us this year.

Neptune turns retrograde May 10 at 8/9 degrees Aquarius, starting its annual 5 month cycle to review our beliefs on the deepest levels possible, to return to the Source. In Aquarius, Neptune shocks us in any area where our beliefs are based upon false illusions. No rose-colored glasses here. Neptune has been passing through Aquarius since 1998, and combined with the Jupiter-Pluto oppositions this past year, major revelations of truth are upon us. Life seems to be changing very fast from these deep awakenings.

Neptune's stationary retrograde may bring major disappointments if our belief systems are not based upon reality. Depression big-time. However, it may also bring the beginnings of deeper searching into what is the truth, collectively and individually. Neptune in Aquarius wants to recondition our beliefs and expose what is the ultimate reality. May this be your quest.

Our collective belief systems are being exposed once again wherever they are based upon illusions and we have plenty of that in today's world. Neptune is sending very subtle messages that the old ways will not work much longer, cataclysms are upon us if things do not change soon. Pay attention to where this affects you and how your own life must change.

Neptune is the ultimate love - the love of God/Goddess. Neptune's retrograde cycle brings the opportunity to understand how to tune in and commune with God/Goddess on the deepest levels possible. What messages are coming up at this time as the highest and best ways for you to return to the Source?

Mercury makes a waxing trine to Neptune on May 10 as well at 8/9 degrees Gemini-Aquarius. A little push to help understand all the nebulous right-brain messaging coming from Neptune's stationary retrograde. Again, Mercury in Gemini allows for shift to happen if we make an effort.

It gets combined with Venus making a waxing sextile to Neptune on May 10/11 at 8/9 degrees Aries-Aquarius. Neptune is the higher octave of love, Venus is the lower octave of love. Together they can combine to create ultimate love, God/Goddess. Here is the opportunity to take the love in our lives and spiritualize it.

Can you love another on the deepest levels? Are the love situations in your life depressing? What must change? Are the love situations in your life deepening to include spiritual love and personal love in healthier ways? May this be your quest: to love everyone as though they are God/Goddess. Neptune in Aquarius wants this love to be objective and whole, versus selfish or selfless.

And, the very next day, Mars turns retrograde for 2 months in Sag at 29/30 degrees. The rarest retrograde - only once every 2 years. Also, one of the hardest retrogrades for many.... Mars is about actions and desires. It is how the deep, unconscious desires of the soul (Pluto) are made conscious and acted upon, the separating desire.

Mars isn't very comfortable being asked to slow down and think before it acts. It's not very comfortable in Sag being asked to quest for deeper inner meaning, and consider someone else's beliefs (Gemini). Mars retrograde is about returning to the Source, and this can be a major change of direction when Mars is always manifesting another separating desire. How can you take your physicality and utilize it to return to God/Goddess?

Mars naturally rules Aries: I want to lead and I want you to follow. Mars retro in Sag must consider that someone else may know more and be a better leader. Can you consider the relativity of truth in your world during Mar's retro cycle? Can countries realize that all may have a piece to the puzzle to contribute to world peace? Can we find a common ground? Or, will we try to impose our way as the only way just as China and the Middle East do?

A most interesting Mars retrograde cycle may be upon us. Pray for peace. New technologies are emerging to show us that we can measure energy in evermore subtle ways and our energetic contributions in an energetic world really do make a difference. Where do you choose to put your energy during this Mars retrograde cycle?

This quest for truth and the exposure of lies only intensifies during this Mars retrograde cycle. How many of us are comfortable when our darkness is revealed? How many of us revert to defense? How many of us welcome the exposure so that we may grow and change?

How many countries can say we are sorry? How many countries can say we made a mistake? Patriarchal principles rule the world and the seriousness of the foolish war games we play will be revealed during this Mars retrograde. When, has war ever created peace?

Your personal truths and belief systems are being revealed to you in sharp, crystal clarity. Utilize this Mars retro cycle to make the changes necessary in your personal world to find your inner peace. Align yourself with outer peace in the world around you.

Another quest during this Mars retrograde cycle: I will align myself with natural laws and truths regardless of the lies around me. If enough of us do so, we will reach the hundredth monkey and the rest will join.

Mercury opposes Pluto May 14 at 14/15 degrees Gemini-Sagittarius. When do we get a break from the intensity?! Find a conversation that isn't about the state of the world, or our health, or our economy, or our problems with others... Mercury-Pluto takes us into deep subjects. We try to lighten up and things just sock us in the gut again. Welcome to 2001 and the new millennium.

On May 15 Sun makes a waxing square to Uranus at 24/25 degrees Taurus-Aquarius. A chance for some final grounding energy to all this intensity of change, maybe. These last few days of Sun in Taurus can help us find that deeper, inner, self-reliance so necessary as our world shifts and shifts and shifts. Remember, your security is not outer these days, it is inner. May Uranus reveal it to you on ever deeper levels.

Next Mercury conjuncts Jupiter at 16/17 degrees Gemini on May 16. Left-brain meets right-brain in a left-brain world. Combined with everything else in our environments, we have a chance to look at things differently, again. Remember to go with the flow. Change and grow as your intuition tells you to yet again. This is not a time to cling to old beliefs, let them go.... What are your personal new beliefs?

Venus makes a waxing trine to Pluto on May 18/19 at 14/15 degrees Aries-Sag. Here is understanding of the new ways in which we are initiating loving ourselves better. It isn't anyone else's responsibility to take care of our needs. It is our own. If we all take care of our own needs, there will be a lot less manipulation of others. How are you realizing where you can love yourself in healthier ways? With a little effort here the results may be nice relationship growth.

Sun enters Gemini on May 20. Here we go again, how much change can you take? The Evolutionary Astrology Mantra during Sun in Gemini is: I gather information with intuitive searching. This next solar month, and all year, we gather information, intuit the meaning, change, gather information, intuit the meaning, change again.

Sun in Gemini is the annual time to look at the details in our lives and organize them. An annual time to gather all the facts and pieces. A time to make a change. In context with all the other planets in Gemini and Sagittarius, and Mars retrograde in Sag, we need to make an intuitive change. We need to take a little time to consider all the possible changes and intuit the best one. Here is the month that will set the course.

Energy builds to choose an action just to act, forgetting to think first. That is why Sag opposes Gemini. Tension is higher all during the summer, and especially in May and June, to act in the heat of the moment only to regret it later. Consider your actions carefully this month.

There is opportunity to make great, positive shifts in greater alignment with natural laws. May you intuit the best ways for you to do so.

There is also opportunity to choose impulsive acts without thought of the consequences. Send prayers and thoughts of peace to all the world leaders. Send them the love you wish them to act upon. New Moon follows a few days later at 2/3 degrees Gemini. An excellent annual time to make those left-brain changes on emotional levels too. This can then change everything in our world. An annual time to look at things differently than before, to choose a different response instead of just emotionally reacting.

See if you can utilize this New Moon energy to change your personal outlook on things. Try to implement these new beliefs coming through. Try consciously shifting your thoughts whenever the old left-brain/emotional tapes start playing. The force is with you if you try.

May 23 Mercury makes a waxing trine to Uranus at 24/25 degrees Gemini-Aquarius. Another mental push. This time the unconscious mind can find it easier to send messages up to the consciousness. What messages are popping up for you? What great conversations are happening at this time? Others are full of ideas, listen, share, listen again.

Venus makes a waning sextile to Jupiter at 18/19 degrees Aries-Gemini on May 24. With a little effort it is easy to let go of those old love patterns that no longer work for us. The new love patterns, and partners, have been coming in for a few months now. What choices are you making to release the old and move forward in giving and receiving love?

Sun makes its annual conjunction to Saturn on May 25 at 4/5 degrees Gemini. An annual rebirthing of reality. This year's conjunction in Gemini asks us how flexible we can be at adapting to the new realities coming on to the planet. Saturn isn't comfortable in easy-going, flowing, in-the-moment Gemini. Sun comes along and helps empower Saturn to make whatever changes are necessary.

This is a moment in time where we can set intent for our foundations to be in movement itself. Evolution takes place one way or another. The more we can go with the flow this year, the easier our reality shifts will be. Where are you being asked to let go of old realities? What new reality structures are emerging in your life? Are you resisting?

All during this summer the energy that allows us to shift and grow also brings the impulsiveness of a moment. Stay with your intuitive messages. Your higher self is always speaking, are you listening?

This is energy that can bring a spark of genius to world leaders. It is also energy that can start a war before we know it. Un-evolved Sagittarius thinks it knows all the answers. Mercury opposes Mars retrograde on May 26 at 27/28 degrees Gemini-Sag. Pressure is so intense on the planet right now. Individuals and countries may find themselves exploding in a moment's notice. Can you breathe and listen, really listen? Access Mars retrograde and take a moment to think before acting or speaking.

Mercury and Mars taunt each other all next month during their respective retrogrades in Gemini and Sag; the best of enlightenment and the worst of dogma and control. Which will you choose? Loosing control is so easy right now. Remember to breathe, meditate, exercise, and just talk about things without judging.

Finally Uranus goes retrograde for 5 months on May 29 at 24/25 degrees Aquarius. Pressure is released in almost every way, positive and negative. The unconsciousness blasts to the surface with all kinds of messaging. Truth continues to be revealed, sometimes through shock and trauma.

When we are not in touch with reality and natural laws, Uranus turning stationary retrograde is not a very pretty sight. What do you feel building up inside you all month long? Pay attention, release, let go. Uranus helps us recondition, and its retrograde cycle shows us where our conditioning is.

Physical, emotional, mental and spiritual limitations build up until our souls have no choice but to break free from those limitations. We all feel the areas of our lives that must shift and change from the buildup of pressure. Utilize Uranus retrograde to make sure you have no illusions about exactly where those areas are.

It doesn't have to be negative. Major positive breakthroughs also happen. Uranus wants to set us free to be whatever our souls desire to be. May this be the enlightenment of Uranus for you. May you launch into your new directions this month. Pay attention to the repeated messages your unconscious mind is sending up to the surface about the future. On May 29 Sun makes a waxing trine to Neptune at 8/9 degrees Gemini-Aquarius. Our personal growth from our evolving new beliefs is manifesting. Try to speak your truth and let go of word games that manipulate others. Bless world leaders with an ability to understand another country's beliefs versus trying to impose their own belief systems onto another.

Venus makes a waxing sextile to Uranus retrograde on May 31 at 24/25 degrees Aries-Aquarius. Messages concerning what we need in order to survive on the planet. Evolving new needs are arising in our personal relationships. Those new relating patterns of this spring are brought into sharper focus; remember the equality of giving and receiving.

Some of the most active/volatile energy of the year is now upon us. May, June and July bring the ultimate tests to change our beliefs, our realities, almost everything in our lives. Strive to ask God/Goddess what is natural law for you. What must you change in order to be in balance with Gaia, planet Earth?

These can be the most enlightening of times for making the changes necessary to grow, to be free, to be in harmony with what Gaia needs. It can also be very scary on the planet right now. Our securities of the last few years - the last decade - are gone.

So much of our every day life scenarios are out of touch with natural law. We abuse our bodies, our hearts, our minds and our souls. We abuse our resources, our animals and our neighbors. The consequences are upon us.

Thankfully, natural law strives for balance and survival. Nature always gives us another chance, one way or another - through reincarnation, another season, another planet in the universe. May enough of us wake up and change this planet before we destroy it. May enough of us desire to make love not war.
