The solar month of Scorpio begins October 22nd and its archetypes are clearly manifested in the U.S. presidential race. As relationship lessons continue through the second six signs of the zodiac, Scorpio is where we face whomever/whatever we perceive to be more powerful than we are. As we merge with that greater power, we osmosis it into us and empower ourselves to another level. We metamorphose and evolve.

For better or worse. If we perceive the separating forces (evil) to be more powerful, we will merge with those symbols – and the end can justify the means. The owner of the largest maker of electronic voting machines has publicly stated he will do whatever necessary to reelect the current president.

If we perceive the returning forces (Source), to be more powerful, we then align ourselves in that direction and empower more love in the universe. We turn out ok regardless of what is happening around us.

These lessons of power and powerlessness are as subtle as attracting partners who we perceive to have whatever we do not have. It also runs to the extremes of corporate America doing whatever is necessary to rape its citizens for another quarterly profit and lost statement and golden parachute.

The office of the President of the United States is a symbol of power in the entire world. U.S. citizens get to decide this solar month if the current president has been using or abusing this position of power. At this point in time, the U.S. Constitution has never faced such a threat of a power takeover to gut its liberties due all its citizens. Never before have we seen so many other countries and their citizens hold such contempt for Americans, all stemming from the current presidential office.

Scorpio is Pluto’s domain of rulership, so the lessons go to the core of the soul. Deep. Most times so deep we do not even notice what is happening until the famous rug gets ripped out from under our feet. We have a tendency to become attached and obsessed with that source of power. When it limits our ability to grow, our power source is removed in order to affect our own self-empowerment.

The Evolutionary Astrology mantra for Scorpio is: I metamorphose myself with evolving self-reliance. We merge with a larger source of power in order to learn from it. Then we must take the next step of self-reliance in order to incorporate more self-empowerment. The opposite of this is co-dependency. Three power symbols in our culture are drugs, sex and money. Anything can be used or abused. Each symbol above can be abused and take us away from God/Goddess. Mercury in Scorpio is sharp and penetrating so help in lifting the fog is available. What Neptunian depressions are you having major insights about? What beliefs and attitudes attached to them need to be released? What new glimpses of truth are upon you?

Neptune turns stationary direct on October 23 at 12/13 degrees Aquarius. This is the resolution time to the current five-month cycle of throwing off our deepest conditioning beliefs, and our illusions from those beliefs. Neptune in Aquarius begs for objectivity.

At the dawning of the Aquarian Age, this means seeing our Piscean illusions about religion for what they are – conditioning that actually keeps us from our own true power and return to God/Goddess.

Neptune in Aquarius tends to defend the past in lesser-evolved souls. As a fixed, air sign, Aquarius wants to be right and rigidity can set in. Saturn is reaching the end of its Cancer passage with its last retrograde cycle starting in just over a week. As Saturn slows down and faces it final emotional security lessons, Venus in Virgo can point out what still isn’t working and must be changed. Make the effort, step-by-step. Any step towards greater self-reliance and self-responsibility, no matter how small, moves the energy in the right direction to take another step and another step.

Mars makes a waning sextile to Pluto the next day on October 27 at 20/21 degrees Libra-Sagittarius. Sparks of relationship truths are coming up into consciousness. Pay attention to what directions you need to take in giving and receiving love. Sometimes saying no is the best answer.

Mars and Pluto represent the conscious and unconscious desires of the soul, respectively. They both have rulership energy with Scorpio. There are themes here to let go of old relating patterns, and maybe the relationship. Where are the power struggles happening to you these days? We may not like the light of day on our emotional past. The Moon in Taurus is now eclipsing its own North Node, or where we are striving to evolve emotionally. Watch the tendency to sell out self-reliance for co-dependency.

Get in touch with yourself as much as possible. Where is your emotional bottom line? Where is your next step of self-reliance and taking care of your own needs? Here is the test. The relationship ideas and decisions that came forth from the Libra Solar Eclipse will now be tested and true, or fall apart.

There is strong emotional energy this solar month as the eclipses fall in the relationship signs. There are power struggles to feel emotionally secure and safe, and compromises on exactly what that means. Just watch what unfolds in the final days of the U.S. elections. Energize towards what you want to see happen, not the fears. When you focus on the fear, you energize it.

Venus enters Libra the next day on October 28 for four-plus weeks. Venus is catching up in one of its own signs of rulership. It might be kinda nice, cleaning up our relationship act after all the other inner planets have passed through Libra. We will definitely have some idea of how our relationship needs are evolving.

We should be able to achieve some of that equal giving and receiving. If not, we can realize what relationship patterns and partners just will not work out. Libra is a cardinal sign. We can choose to relate to ourselves, and maybe, just maybe, have the best relationship we’ve ever had. What a concept - finding the soul mate within.

Allow Venus in Libra to help you really listen to what is mirrored back to you in relationships. Discern if it is your “stuff,” or a projection trying to make you responsible. Mercury makes a waxing trine to Saturn on November 2 at 27/28 degrees Scorpio-Cancer. Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces all have planets visiting, have you had enough of your emotions yet? Mercury and Saturn can tend to get serious about those emotions and quite direct when security is threatened.

Saturn is almost stationary and getting closer yet to its retrograde initiation (November 7). Mercury says this is what is emotionally desirable as Saturn wrestles with insecurities one more time. Do you have the emotional self-reliance and inner power to create your desires? Are you evolving into social maturity?

There is strong emotional energy on Election Day in the U.S. Do not let a nice, waxing trine fool you. It might be easier to just stay stuck in what we think is security, i.e. a U.S. president that talks the talk. Pay attention to reality here. Mercury enters Sagittarius for six-plus weeks on November 4 as it slows down for its own retrograde cycle next solar month. Can truth come out here? Or, will it be conditioned to meet a Scorpionic power agenda?

Each time Mercury moves through Sag, the opposite sign of one of its rulerships (Gemini), the left-brain must give way to the intuitive right-brain. With a retro cycle in Sag after the election, there may be those big moments of realizing a deeper layer of truth. And it can be quite different then what we thought was real. There may be those famous lawsuits and battles over who has the political truth.

Mercury makes a waning square to Uranus retrograde on November 6 at 2/3 degrees Sagittarius-Pisces. The inner planets keep getting “release the old” messages as our unconsciousness sends up more information. Mercury is on a quest for truth and questions any Piscean illusions.

Uranus is almost stationary and getting ready to turn direct itself on November 11. Our individuated unconscious mind has spent the last five months revealing those Piscean illusions and delusions. Mercury gets into the picture and helps figure out another level of truth to these interesting times we live in.

Where are your illusions in your face? Where does your mind just keep going in circles? What larger level of understanding do you need to reach for in order to find peace? Saturn governs the individuated consciousness and when it turns retro it opens the door to the unconsciousness. What is real here? What is really going on in your life? Mars wants to go for it and Saturn wants to procrastinate. Ideas clash with emotional fears. Bottom line is one more Saturn retro cycle in Cancer to find the deepest level of emotional self-reliance we can get to. The more responsible we can be for our own life and needs, the easier it will be in the long run. Venus makes a waning trine to Neptune on November 8 at 12/13 degrees Libra-Aquarius. Venus still keeps searching for love through our emotional upheavals this month. This aspect is love rewards from others in some way. It can also be others telling us what we want to hear rather than just stating the truth.

As Saturn turning stationary retro brings reality crashing through, Venus must accept it. Watch out for your tendency to compromise on facing what is real. Venus can hear what it wants to hear from Neptune (others), and just put on those rose-colored glasses. Careful here. Mars enters Scorpio on November 10/11 for a six-plus week journey. Mars is entering its old sign of rulership (until Pluto showed up). Mars gets into powerful action here. Relationship action. Who has the most power, or appearance of power? If the U.S. presidential election turns into a mess, there are big power grabs now. Underhanded power plays.

Mars is the leading edge of our conscious desires, and many times these are separating desires. We may desire outside power here instead of self-empowerment. Where do you feel frustrated, angry, rage, etc? This is the area where you are caught up in power outside of yourself. And, it is the place to find deeper inner power. When you are self-reliant there is no need to control anyone or anything else. And nothing/no one can control you.

Again, any type of attempting to have power “over” another is some form of co-dependency based upon fears of outside power. Yes, there are forces of power greater than you. As you understand that God/Goddess is found within first, then you learn to connect with the greatest source of power there is. God/Goddess is stronger than the separating forces. Where have you bought in to the illusion it is not so? Relationship truths can be a theme. Make more time for those great conversations back and forth. They can give you a head start in finding a common ground for your evolving beliefs and values in relationships. Trust your instincts when you sense a lie. Start digging for the truth.

Uranus turns stationary direct on November 11 at 2/3 degrees Pisces, finishing up a five-month review cycle that started June 10 at 6/7 degrees Pisces. We are completing the first entire Uranus retrograde cycle in Pisces. Uranus retro works to de-condition our souls, especially with conditioning that has become unconscious.

So in Pisces, this means Uranus is going deep down, to get to the bottom of whatever illusions we have been creating over the last 2,000 years of the Piscean Age. It means removing our walls preventing us from merging with Source. We have bought in to this perfect patriarchal god outside of us judging us.

As we have bought in to this illusion of a perfect god (and our imperfect soul), we have set up all kinds of judgments and guilt. We have used this conditioning to justify our behaviors of atonement and anger, victim and victor. For the vast majority of souls, this illusion of an anthropomorphic god runs so deep, we cannot even recognize the conditioning anymore.

Uranus in Pisces, and Neptune in Aquarius, are here to help us detach and say, “Wait a minute – if god is perfect, why was this mess created? If an outside god controls us, why even give us a brain? Ummmm, is someone/something (like separating forces) trying to trick us?”

Where are you waking up to your conditioning games as Uranus goes direct in Pisces? Where are you judging yourself? Based upon what? By whose standards?

Uranus in Pisces is helping you shed your illusions and delusions and anything else that has you disconnecting from your source of power right there inside of yourself. Uranus in Pisces is about giving up your conditions of love for yourself and just goes for unconditional self-love on the deepest level possible.

Uranus is always about finding your freedom. Where and how is this happening for you? May you be most successful. May you recognize the deepest source of power with God/Goddess and co-create in the most magical ways. The New Moon of Scorpio is November 12 at 20/21 degrees. As this New Moon follows Uranus turning direct, it is a wonderful time to initiate new self-empowerment. Merge with your sources of power, knowing they are only your examples as you learn to do the same on your own.

We can become most powerful co-creators when we operate from self-reliance, as we empower others to co-create from self-reliance as well. Initiate merging with God/Goddess on your next level and search for your deepest desires to be satisfied within you. Quantum physics then follows through reflecting your inner world into the outer world.

During this Mercury retrograde cycle, Neptune and Jupiter dance on either side of Pluto while the messenger connects them back and forth, back and forth, bringing sparks of greater truths during the solar month in Sagittarius.

Mercury makes the first of three waning sextiles to Neptune on November 13 at 12/13 degrees Sagittarius-Aquarius. Open yourself up to deeper and deeper connections to Source. It may be needed, depending on how the U.S. elections turn out. Here is where we begin to see the next layer of limited truth and beliefs that will be released.

Energize natural laws as you begin to perceive them on deeper levels. You will get three opportunities to align yourself as an example of living in natural laws and truths. Speak your truth as best as you can. Let others do the same. Can you find the language that will help another soul find a deeper level of truth? In turn, the same can happen for you.

Just remember that natural law is inclusive, versus exclusive.

Venus makes a waning sextile to Pluto on November 14/15 at 21 degrees Libra-Sagittarius. As Venus makes its way through Libra, it is really starting to understand relationships better through all the contrasting examples out there. As it wanes, sextiles Pluto, there are lessons of self-reliance again.

Venus and Pluto naturally oppose each other as they rule Taurus and Scorpio respectively. Back to the Taurean self-reliance versus Scorpionic co-dependency. Here we are asked to release whatever holds us back from taking care of our own needs. The only acceptable co-dependent relationship is the one we have with God/Goddess.

Mars makes a waning trine to Uranus on November 15 at 2/3 degrees Scorpio-Pisces. The manifestation of these two planets together depends upon that level of self-reliance we can create. The better we can take care of our own needs, the better we can merge with another on deep soul levels, as it can happen freely without any agendas.

If you find yourself sensing something is not quite right in your interactions with another, pay attention. Un-evolved Mars in Scorpio with Uranus in Pisces can be some of the most subtle, yet powerful manipulating energy there is. It sounds sooooo good. Yet, it just doesn’t feel good. No compromise. Here is opportunity to love yourself. How can anyone love you if you do not love yourself first? How can you really love another if you do not love yourself first?

Love is found within first, then reflected outwardly to the same degree. So if you do not like what you find in your love life right now, you know where to go for answers.

Venus makes a waxing square to Saturn retro on November 19/20 at 27/28 degrees Libra-Cancer, more of the same. Venus follows the Sun to really help Saturn get this emotional self-reliance thing. Everything we truly create in the world comes from this.

Oh we can play the games for a while. However we cannot hold on to what we create from fear. Sooner or later the fear destroys the very thing we have created. And we are left with what we really feared in the first place – being alone.

Alone is where we are without God/Goddess in our life. When we are caught up in the conditioning of a patriarchal god outside of us, we are still alone. We can completely give our power away and we are still alone. We can grab as much power as we can possibly create, and we are still alone.

The only thing that will ever truly fill us up is Source, God/Goddess – that one we carry on conversations with inside our head. Wow. No matter how much we think we are alone, we never are. We have just bought into the illusions of loneliness and tried to fill ourselves up from the outside in.

It is ok to go within. It is where you will find the Source of everything. Then you will realize you never were alone. You never are. God/Goddess is always with you, patiently waiting for you to recognize it.

Finally Mercury makes the first of three conjunctions to Pluto on November 20 at 21/22 degrees Sagittarius. Let your sparks of truth unfold. Regardless of the illusion of truth others may settle for, stand in what is your emerging truth. Ask for natural law on the deepest levels possible. Desire to know truth.
